The door to the South
Grape vines, blooming apple orchards and chestnut groves decorate the landscape of Vahrn, the small village outside of Brixen. There is a reason it is called the “Door to the South”.
Protected by the surrounding mountains, here at 670 m above sea level crispy apples, juicy grapes and fragrant Mediterranean plants ripen and flourish. Vahrn near Brixen is the perfect starting point for adventure and free-time activities all year long. Particularly beautiful: the blooming apple trees in spring, the mild climate in summer, Törggelen in fall and the idyllic landscape in winter.
